Calgary PMA’s Fall Harvest Sale

September 9th and 10th

In support of our partnering Charities and the community.

The Calgary PMA’s Fall Harvest Sale is an Annual Charitable Sale of Fruits and Vegetables, taking place September 9th and 10th at Heritage Park.  Heritage Park kindly hosts this Annual Charitable Event for the Calgary PMA.   This partnership raises money for; the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary, and the Heritage Park Society .  With a wide variety of produce available it is a chance for the community to stock up and save.

What you can find at the Fall Harvest Sale?

Product at the Fall Harvest Sale varies each year.  Growing conditions determine what our Association can receive in donations, and what we can purchase for the sale.  Product shortages due to fires, mother nature, and market conditions play a major role in what we receive at the sale.  Thankfully we have a wide range of members across the Canada and the US, who provide us with a vast assortment of product each year.

Cabbage, Potatoes, Carrots, Beets, Apples, Bananas, Tomatoes and Greens are just some of the assortment that we can have at the sale.

The Association

The Produce Industry proudly comes together as one, standing side by side with their competitors.  A truly unique event in one industry coming together in support of our Charitable partners.  Donating countless hours to secure product, volunteers, transportation, and warehousing for the sale.

Their dedication and support to the Fall Harvest Sale each year, allows us to continue to contribute to our charitable partners, and provide an opportunity for the community to stock up of their fruits and vegetables.

The Fall Harvest Sale Volunteers

Hundreds of individuals are relied upon to help pull together an event of this magnitude.  We rely on our members, associates, charitable partners and friends to volunteer over the course of the event.  Setting up displays, merchandising product, selling product, and clean up are just some of the duties that are asked of our volunteers.

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.” ~ Voltaire

Carry Outs
